Saw 3D As a stand alone CD pretty good. As a Saw soundtrack well I've always loved the Saw movies and aside from the cool traps and the twists my other favorite part of them has been the soundtracks. Past soundtracks have found some really good music to compliment the grittyness and insanity of the movies itself and also had my favorite bands. However when I saw the listing to this one I had to say I was a little disappointed. I went out to buy it anyway and found that the majority of the tracks are listenable and can get your feet tapping but very few sound Saw worthy. Examples of those tracks would be the one from Lordi Dir En Grey and Karnivool. Then there's the tracks by the radio friendly bands such as Hinder I do have to admit their track is my favorite on this CD Saving Abel Default and My Darkest Days it's a good song but what is it doing on a Saw soundtrack? Sounds more suitable for a superhero movie. Considering this movie is supposed to be the last in the series I'll give them a few years to prove that you'd think they would want to go out with a bang but they just end up with an equivalent of a firecracker going off.So if you're a fan of the bands I'd say go for it and pick it up. If you're a fan of the past Saw soundtracks which would mean you're into the heavy metal and industrial type music you'll be disappointed.
