Magic Eye New Looking World fun
fun I forgot how much fun these are to do! I'm a little out of practice though couldn't get them all.
Who gets the Magic Eye This product is beautiful entertaining and a visiual challenge. Age appropriate seems non essential. Visual perception is the key and who has it is unknowable until you try. Its fun in a group.
A New View on The World Having enjoyed this and many similar items like it in the 80's and 90's I was pleased to be able to present this to my grandson. His first reaction was one of denial that an image or images was contained within the page but after learning the technique of focus and concentration he was able to see them all. What a delight to watch his face as he saw one after another. Amazing! And a nice return to yesterday as I myself was transported back to my first oh my gosh! moment!! We will be adding new volumes soon.
magic eye book The book came very fast. It was very well wraped for shipping. The seller kept in contact by letting me know when it had shipped and how to best open the packaging so as not to harm the book. We really enjoy the book.
A Magical Trick of the Eyes! I remember the first time I picked up a copy of this book and it's sequels if this came out in 1993 then that would put me in 7th grade at the time. When I got those images to pop out at me I was astounded full color 3D without the goofy glasses! Of course it took a little training and a lot of patience at first but I eventually got the hang of it. I can now see the images by simply staring at them and crossing my eyes ever so slightly believe it or not this only takes me a few seconds. I guess you could say that I've become a Magic Eye master. If you have as fond memories of these as I do and would like to share them with a new generation then I say go for it. They are fun imaginative and brilliantly done. You and your kids will love them I guarantee it.

Amazing!!! I saw this book at a friend's house a few years ago and I just had to get a copy.
3D Books Never Get Old I bought this book because I wanted to show someone the Magic Eye pictures. They had never seen anything like them before and couldn't get it. There weren't any at the nearby bookstores so I looked on Amazon and found the original for a cheap price. I was initially somewhat disappointed because the pictures weren't as complex as I remembered but I soon realized that it started out very simple and got more and more complicated. It's good for beginners which is who this was for. When I received it I immediately read the whole book before I gave it away. Part of the book cover was a little bent in transport. Disappointing but overall not a big deal. I'm glad I made the purchase.
Awesome! This book is so much fun I love looking at it over and over again with my parents sister and boyfriend We all try to see who can see the 3D images in it faster! It's quite amazing relaxing and entertaining.

Picture on cover too small The picture on the cover of the box was sooooo small that it was very difficult to see the picutre well to facilitate constructing the puzzle.the puzzle is 18 by 24 and the picture on the box is only 5 x 7could have at least been a as the box witch was about 8 x 10..I have done a lot of puzzles and the box is usually bigger and thus the pix bigger.

Alice in Wonderland Visually Stunning!
The most Beautiful Blu Ray Movie I've EVER seen!!!! Alice in Wonderland is already a great Movie! A great acting job by Johnny Depp Hatter and Mia Wasikowska Alice makes it even better than the original! But looking at it on Blu Ray WOW!!!! The colors are beautiful and accurate and it really gives a theaterlike experience! I highly recommend this GREAT Blu Ray! You won't be disappointed.
Visually Stunning! The visual aspects of this movie capture the eye. The quirky characters capture the imagination.My only complaint was the lack of energy from the lead character Alice. Even at the climax of the movie she barely raises her voice as if she was a little bored with her own actions. Despight that I was still entertained from beginning to end.
Wonderful Coming of Age film for Women I didn't know anything about this film but I like Johnny Depp and my husband had bought it so we watched it last weekend. I plan to watch it again very soon. This film operates on several levels but the one that was most obvious and meaningful to me is that it is clearly a coming of age film aimed at young women or at any woman at any phase of her life who has decided to at least consider taking an alternate path or find her own way in the world.
Very Good 3d Movie I read lots of reviews and the rest of my family actually saw this in 3D in a movie theater and loved it but I did not seen the regular version. I had just purchased a Vizio 42d TV and a Panasonic Bluray 3d player and looked online for some of the best 3d movies and this one came up. I am still waiting for my free copy of Avitar from Panasonic.I bought mine on ebay sorry amazon for 25.00.You know the story so I will not go into a review about that but the 3D in this movie is very good there is just so many things that show up that don't in the 2d version. I will not give it away but the movie is well worth the money even at Amazon's $35.00 price tag.

The floating heads in the moat was my big concern. However my 7 yr old LOVES the movie and does not seem scared or concerned about that scene. She loves the grownup Alice! Johnny Depp of course does an awesome job. After we watched in the theater me and another friend starting walking and acting like the White Queen Anne Hathaway. Her 8 yr old starting screaming jokingly in embarrassment. It was hilarious!! This is a great adaptation to the original Disney movie.
Dont listen to the poor reviews To honest I decided to read the bad reviews to see what could possibly be bad about this or movie or what people thought was bad and I was actually disgusted with what I read. I honestly couldnt believe it. Yes this is quite the difference from the original kids Alice in wonderland that came out way back when but if you are looking for a good remake of a movie I think this is defiantly what you are looking for.I saw this movie in theaters and was just amazed with how good this movie is. When I went in and the saw the movie I honestly thought I wouldnt like the movie at all but to still give it a chance but to be honest it turns out obviously that this is a great movie if you get a chance. Yes this is a darker more weird version of Alice in wonderland but that doesnt take away anything good from movie I would say it just adds on to how good this movie can be. I was very satisfied with movie I would strongly suggest it to anyone.

The actors worked in green screen for much of the film Their bodies were electonically wired to grasp their movements then their costumes and real faces were added later. Sci Fi Savant Glenn Erickson Another fine work by a great writer.
Another nottobe missed DVD Savant book An endlessly fascinating look at science fiction films from wonderful film expert and author Glenn Erickson aka DVD Savant. Glenn not only covers the story behind the films his critical appraisals are both entertaining and thoughtfuland his gives a welcome critique of the most recent DVD or Bluray release of the films. Both film and scifi buffs won't be able to put it down.
Another fine work by a great writer. I've long read Glenn Erickson's DVD Savant column at Dvdtalk.Com His reviews are well thought out and even better written. Glenn's deep love of science fiction movies shows in the completeness and fairness of his reviews of these classic films. I am myself the author of five books on film and it pains me to say that Glenn is probably a better writer. You may not always agree with his every point but he puts solid reasoning behind each opinion.
A welcome new look at SF cinema I've been a regular reader of Glenn Erickson's DVD Savant column for ten years now. Cyberdrome Joseph Rhea Really enjoyed this.
Very disappointing A few pages into the story and it was obvious that the book is selfpublished not that selfpublishing is bad only that a professional publisher would not print the story. The characters have no depth and the situations are very rushed. It felt as though the story had been written in the hopes that it would make it to the silver screen I'm afraid that Tron and the sequel are already there. On the positive side the story was well edited. I made it halfway through the book before the number of adventure game cybermonsters began to overrun my Kindle's CPU and my own limited cognitive abilities.
Really Cool Stuff This book has been compared to Tron and Tron Legacy but this author knows more about computer systems than the Tron writers ever did. Actually his left pinky finger knows more about computer systems than the Tron writers ever did. Now the whole idea of people entering a computer leaves some very hard to figure out questions what exactly do biological functions like breathing or having adrenaline flood your body really mean when everything is binary code? So ignore those questions. Just concentrate on the really cool things that would look great in a movie like the monstrous living machines based on praying mantises worms and other things. My favorite was soldiers that used identical parts to build and rebuild themselves into various forms.I can't say this author knows as much about realistic characters as he does about computers but his characters serve their purpose.The ending is very much a leadin to more adventures and I hope the sequels will explore some of the many simulated Earths on which people live and die without knowing they are simulated. We barely get a glimpse of them in this first book.
After all the positive reviews I was disappointed I suppose I picked up this book because it got 4+ star reviews and it was scifi and it was cheap. But while reading it I wondered what would the reviews have been like if this was a seven dollar book?I thought the plot was very Avatar/Tron/Matrix as the other nonglowing reviews have stated. Maybe it's difficult to write scifi in the wake stories like these that doesn't seem so derivative.Oh and I didn't like the ending at all.
Fast Paced Well Balanced The story moves along quickly and although it takes some thinking to keep up with the author it is not difficult to capture the story line and keep each character in line with all that is happening. Unlike some books that one has to refer back frequently there is no doubt as to most of the main characters. Of course sorting out the bad guys from the good ones is not always easy and trying to imagine the bizzare beings described is not always easy. The pictures at the end of the book aid the reader's imagination.I anticipate the sequal to this book if the author intends to write one. I am not a computer geek but have enough understanding to assimilate the main ideas. I recommend this book to those who enjoy science fiction and easy reading.
Really enjoyed this. I thought this was clever original plot was tricky you had to bend your mind to get the plot it was moving fast. I was thankful that i had a kindle that i could look up the meaining of some of the words.This book is not for those who are just dabbling in sci fi this is the real deal and I thoroughly enjoyed itIt also has that glimmer of this could be technology in 50 years grasp to it.
Can't believe it took me this long.. I had this book for over a year on my Kindle before reading it. I have no clue WHY ok yes I do I LOVE books and have well over 600 TBR on my Kindle right now because it was certainly a good book. Ok.. I like good scifi. this qualified. It was written before the 2010 Tron movie came out and was reminiscent of the old Tron but had more than enough originality to hold its own.Many of the pictures in the back of the book were exactly as I imagined the scenes while reading them. This was more than worth my time and I am only sorry it took me so long to get to this book.

I remember that I really enjoyed it. I read this book over a year ago and have just stumbled on it and thought I owe the author my thanks. I really enjoyed reading the book although the details now escape me. If there is a sequel give me a shout.
Only for the undiscerning This is the pulpiest of pulp fiction I barely made it past the halfway mark. And I'm a fan of EE Smith that should tell you something. It starts well enough but New Rule find in an SF book the phrase I never stopped loving you and frisbee it into the bin. Seriously maybe DH Lawrence or Jane Austin can pull that of but in SF it just means someone is in way over their head.

Johnny Depp is great as the mad hatter. The casting was excellent as was the costuming. I kept checking it out of the library until I finally decided to buy my copy from Amazon.
