Saw III (uncut version)

Saw III Saw III definitly drives off emotions as one's story of tragedy and hatred leads to his lesson of forgiveness. Jeff certainly cannot get over his son's tragedy and has been living off of revenge. The family falls apart that leads to his wife making a moral decision. Jigsaw returns as he is getting closer to his end and initiates a game that would lead to an ultimate revaltion for Amanda. Saw III is awesome and worth the watch.
Best SAW Film Ever. SAW 3 is when they reach the absolute best plot in the series the first few movies are the best. SAW 1 was excellent and SAW 2 was great but SAW 3 is a masterpiece. Plot Jeff and Lynn which used to be a couple and are now divorced. They're both abducted Jigsaw is getting weaker from cancer and dying but Lynn is a doctor and must keep him alive or she'll also die. Jeff wants to get revenge on who was responsible for his sons death and is obsessed he was hit by a car but he can either forgive and save them or he'll also die. From the 2nd SAW Eric is still alive and makes it out by cutting his leg off. Also Amanda was the one working for Jigsaw and the one behind all of the Jigsaw traps. SAW 3 is an improvement over the first 2 better acting and plot. The Jigsaw Traps are better and more original more intense also.
Fantastic Great movie I picked this item up for a very good price and was shipped to my door within 4 days great shipping rate also. Very satisfied.
One Saw too many! Having avoided watching Saw 2 for six years I finally decided to be brave and see if it was any good. While some elements were memorable it was a disappointing experience for me. Undeterred I moved onto Saw 3 and promised myself I would give it a chance. I stuck to my word and goodness me what an experience it was!Saw 3 follows on directly from its predecessor tying up some loose ends notably with Detective Eric Matthews Donnie Wahlberg and Detective Kerry Dina Meyer who all end up victims of Jigsaw's sadistic games. The film then switches its focus to Jigsaw's latest game. With his apprentice Amanda Young Shawnee Smith in tow Jigsaw has her kidnap Lynn Denlon Bahar Soomekh with instructions that she must keep the bedridden Jigsaw Tobin Bell alive for the duration of the latest game or be killed by the intimidating collar round her neck which will fire shotgun bullets into her head! The game Jigsaw devises sees Jeff Angus Macfadyen a father seeking vengeance for the death of his son given the chance to face the man that killed his son but only by completing some tests along the way. The question is can Jeff complete the game and will Lynn Denlon keep Jigsaw alive until he does? The main focus of the film has Jeff face the only witness to his son's death who refused to testify in court and the judge that allowed the drunk driver off lightly. Jigsaw's test for Jeff is whether he can forgive those that contributed to his grief and desire for vengeance in the present. Though Jeff is an understandably emotional and griefstricken father he is also a bit slow when it comes to playing Jigsaw's games.
This Is Only A Test All I can say is WOW! I loved the third installment of the Saw franchise. It's packed with gore and scenes that will make you cringe and look away. Amongst this thickwithblood film we have another unique story with yet another climatic twist at the end. Saw III picks up where Saw II left off and if you haven't seen the first two Saw movies I strongly recommend that you watch them first. You'll see through flashbacks to the previous two Saw movies how Saw III fits together with the other two like a puzzle piece so all three are linked together perfectly.Amanda Shawnee Smith is back once again and she's vicious! She is a very strong and pivotal character in the film and Smith does an outstanding job of portraying the violent emotionally unstable Amanda. As Jigsaw's/John Kramer's accomplice she is helping him with his latest game but it's Amanda who is truly put to the test as you will see as the film progresses. John is bedridden hooked up to a heart monitor dying from cancer and using an oxygen mask to help him breathe however he uses his bleak situation as a tool for his game. Amanda kidnaps a woman named Lynn Bahar Soomekh a depressed pillpopping surgeon with marital problems and takes her to the building where John lays waiting. Lynn's test? Keep John alive until another person in the building completes his series of tests. But it won't be that easy.
Clearly vengeance only makes you angrier Jigsaw is back but his disease is defeating him little by little. Amanda's story is further detailed and how her relationship with John built over the last year or so in the timeline. The bathroom scene with Amanda and John was great to see as the set up for the game was in motion. How Amanda's emotions would get the best of her and killing Adam was sad to see. In the end Saw III was great and will lead into an awesome sequel with a bigger revalation.
Too heavy on story but pretty much makes up for it in the traps Saw 2 was *just* good enough to make me want to get the third one. Since it was like four bucks here for the Bluray I thought Why not?Short version It's the goriest Saw yet but still not as gory as some other flicks notably the remake of I Spit On Your Grave hey wanna watch fortyfive minutes of sadistic rape? Or do you prefer the girl's rather creative and tortuous revenge sequences that would make Jigsaw flinch? nor is it on the level of some of the classics like High Tension Suspiria or REC probably because Saw doesn't seem to take itself all that seriously but the other flicks do. Hostel also does the same thing which makes it more potentially disturbing. The entire Saw series is a bit cheesy really and takes a few too many creative liberties when it comes to plot and realism. At least the other films mentioned tried to look realistic but the Saw series is almost comical in comparison with far too much emphasis on all that crap about Amanda and other things virtually none of us cares about. Just get to the damned traps already we don't give a damn about Amanda or the prequel part or any of that garbage. Since when was Saw known for its masterful storytelling? Right never.
Saw 3
Great movie this is where they should have stopped. This movie was another great horror movie. This is just as good as the second one in my opinion. The brain surgery scene was one of the most disgusting scenes I have seen in a movie in a long time. This is where I believe the series should have stopped. This would have made a great trilogy but unfortunately Hollywood doesn't know how to quit when they are on top.
Saw III The downfall of Jigsaw After consecutively watching the entire Saw series over a recent weekend and LOVING it I decided that a single review with modified details could be used for all the films. Enjoy.A sadistic sociopath similar to the one in Se7en with an affinity for engineering likes to play lethal games forcing his victims those he deems unappreciative of life into an existential choice inside a million dollars worth of engineering and machinery.Saw THREE begins with ONE person trapped in an abandoned MEATPACKING PLANT. Forced to play the killer's Tobin Bell as John Jigsaw Kramer game JEFF Angus Macfadyen has to prove his will to live and his ability to FORGIVE. Meanwhile DET. ALLISON KERRY Dina Meyer OFFICER DANIEL RIGG Lyriq Bent and rugged veteran DET. MARK HOFFMAN Costas Mandylor are investigating as a team but ALLISON KERRY may be in too deep. As the law grows increasingly closer to ensnaring Jigsaw the game participant learns that AMANDA YOUNG Shawnee Smith may be an accomplice to his abduction and his situation provides a choice between VARIOUS TRAPS for OTHERS or guaranteed death for his family. To help his cause cryptic clues left via mini cassette tape lead him aka life perpetrator towards the precipice of twisted rehabilitation or a potential tomb.
